Traffic Safety Devices Roadguard/2 Barrier

Company: Traffic Safety Devices Inc

April 01, 2006

Roadguard, a division of Traffic Safety Devices Incorporated (TSDI), has released the ROADGUARD/2 water-ballasted, energy-absorbing plastic barrier. The company says the ROADGUARD/2 is the first portable Jersey-style barrier to be manufactured by the blow-molding process, using High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) plastic. The double-chambered ROADGUARD/2 is six feet long, 3.5 feet high, two feet wide at the bottom, and 10 inches wide at the top. The double chamber provides two vertical walls in the center of the barrier, delivering added strength and stability. When filled with water, the ROADGUARD/2 weighs a secure 1600 pounds.
