L-3 Communications Motorcycle Digital Recorder

Company: L-3 Communications

October 01, 2005

With its rugged, reliable, solid-state memory, L-3 Communications’ Flashback CycleVision gives motorcycle officers the ability to digitally record video evidence to enhance their safety while protecting them from unwarranted allegations. Flashback CycleVision’s resistance to shock and vibration and its compact profile make it ideal for motorcycle use. It also uses less than 2 amps of power, so it will not drain the motorcycle’s battery. The monitor console includes a 3.5-inch color LCD monitor, a speaker with adjustable volume, and backlit operational controls that duplicate those on the DVR. The compact and lightweight camera provides a quality picture in both daytime and low-light situations. Both externally mounted components are designed with sun shields for optimal visibility.
