The updated Counter Terrorism Series of boots from Bates features a Vibram Mutant outsole to help maintain footing and multi-directional oval lugs on the outsole and contact toes and heels to increase traction and stability in all environments. Styles in the series include the M-9, M-9 Zip, and M-6 Zip. The M-9 boot is lined with Gore-Tex and 200-gram Thinsulate to keep feet dry and comfortable, while safety padding adds protection and a flex point at the heel increases mobility. The M-9 Zip and M-6 Zip have the same features, as well as a side zipper and Velcro zipper strap to secure the zipper pull.
