Smith & Wesson Identi-Kit.Net
July 01, 2003
Smith & Wesson has created a new online capability for its widely used Identi-Kit 2000 software. Identi-Kit.Net gives users the ability to create a sketch of a suspect and share it with other agencies miles away, in another state, or around the world via the Internet. The upgraded Identi-Kit.Net software adds functions that let users produce more than 5 billion different facial composites (including multi-racial and multi-gender), create wanted posters, search for composite matches, and transmit the images via e-mail.
