L.A. County Sheriff Adds Mobile Computers To Fleet

The new computer systems will provide more than 2,400 field units with greater access to new public safety technologies. Deputies will now be able to utilize the Sheriff's Data Network, Intranet and other criminal databases from their vehicles.

Baltimore Adds Four American Eurocopter EC120s

The Baltimore Police Department has ordered four American Eurocopter EC120 aircraft to update its fleet of four aircraft, the company announced. The new helicopters will be part of a fleet renewal program and will begin arriving in summer 2012.

Mass. City Adds QR Codes to Cruisers for Smartphone Scans
