Iowa Officer Joins Ford's Police Advisory Board

A Mason City (Iowa) PD officer has joined Ford's Police Advisory Board to provide input on the automaker's law enforcement vehicles.

A Mason City (Iowa) Police Department officer has joined Ford's Police Advisory Board to provide input on the automaker's law enforcement vehicles.

Ford added Lt. Logan Wernet to the panel of about two dozen law enforcement fleet officials who provide feedback to the automaker. Other board members represent agencies such as the LAPD, Massachusetts State Police, Michigan State Police, City of Miami Gardens, and Texas Department of Public Safety.

Wernet has served the department since 1991 and has been the agency's fleet manager for the past four years, reports KIMT.
