Woman Attacks N.C. Officer With Scissors, Steals Cruiser

September 06, 2013  |

A mentally ill New Jersey woman attacked a Fayetteville (N.C.) Police officer with a pair of scissors and fled in a stolen cruiser after a scuffle that also involved a civilian.

The wild scene was partially captured on cell phone video by an onlooker, reports WTVD.

The incident began when the officer responded to a call of a suspicious person with a weapon at Campground Church Road around 5:20 p.m. The officer encountered 21-year-old Ayana Kenyatta Taylor, who was armed with a hammer and scissors.

Everyone knows the scissors always win in a game of rock/paper/scissors. If they were the rounded safety scissors the Officer would have won the battle.
