La. Constable Killed In Crash

The Allen Parish (La.) Constable was killed Wednesday morning when his patrol car left the U.S. Highway 165 roadway and struck several trees.

John D. Manuel was not wearing his seatbelt during the crash. He was driving a 2004 Ford Crown Vic.

The crash occurred about two miles north of Kinder in Allen Parish.
