VIDEO: Colo. Cops Chase DUI Teen's Stolen Cruiser

An 18-year-old is facing multiple charges, after she stole a Clear Creek County (Colo.) Sheriff's SUV and led deputies on a pursuit that reached speeds exceeding 100 mph, reports the Denver Post.

Shelby Figueroa has been charged with attempted vehicular assault on a peace officer, vehicular eluding, aggravated motor vehicle theft, resisting arrest, driving under the influence of alcohol/drugs, theft, and reckless driving.

A deputy pulled Figueroa over at about 10 a.m. Sunday. She resisted arrest and was placed in the read of the SUV, where she escaped her handcuffs, climbed into the front seat, and sped off. She led officers on a high-speed chase onto the I-70 that ended when she flipped the vehicle.

Tests show Figueroa was under the influence of alcohol and cocaine at the time of the incident, reports CBS News.
