Man Wrecks Stolen LAPD Cruiser

A man who stole a Los Angeles Police Department cruiser early Friday obliterated the police vehicle when he crashed into a parked car, light pole, and a Starbucks.
The man, who was between 25 and 30 years old, lost both of his legs in the crash. He had stolen the vehicle from the Southwest Division. He crashed it around 4 a.m. at La Brea Avenue and San Vicente Boulevard.
The Los Angeles Times has a photo of the wrecked crusier.
