The Henderson, Nev., City Council approved the purchase of 27 Chevrolet Tahoes and one Caprice for the city to replace aging Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor (CVPI) sedans.

Twenty-four of the vehicles will be assigned to the police department, three for the fire department, and one for fire investigation. The city has 299 vehicles in this class.
