May 16, 2011
|
Pittsburgh Police are investigating two cruiser crashes over the weekend, including one patrol car's collision with an ambulance as both were responding to a fatal shooting.
The officer driving the cruiser that collided with the ambulance had to be pulled out of the vehicle, which had flipped onto its side and was beginning to catch fire.
The second cruiser struck an SUV. The crashes were unrelated.
