Washington Officer Crashes To Avoid Gunman

A Lakewood (Wash.) Police officer crashed his cruiser, while evading a parked vehicle with a passenger pointing a shotgun at him, reports KOMO News.

The officer had initiated a pursuit of a vehicle he spotted driving recklessly in the Woodbrook area. The vehicle turned and blocked a roadway. The passenger pointed the weapon at the officer, who crashed and was ejected from his cruiser. He's expected to fully recover.
