Stray Trailer Strikes Arizona Tribal Officer's Cruiser, Killing Him

San Carlos Apache Police Officer Aaron Peru, 26, was killed Sunday, when a stray trailer struck his vehicle, while he headed to an afternoon meeting, reports the Tucson Citizen.
The incident occurred about 3:30 p.m. along U.S. 70 near milepost 279 in Arizona. Peru had served as a San Carlos Apache police officer for about 30 days.
