CHP Motor Officer Dies During Pursuit Crash

A motor officer with the California Highway Patrol was killed during a short pursuit Friday morning, after attempting to pull over a driver who didn't want to stop, the Los Angeles Times reports.

Tom Coleman, a 7-year CHP veteran, was killed he crashed into a big rig while chasing a Ford Focus in Redlands. The four people inside the car were arrested after the Focus crashed into another vehicle moments later.
