According to news reports from the Oakland Tribune, two teenage boys were arrested in connection to four burglaries in the California Bay Area. The boys, ages 15 and 16, were spotted in Mission San Jose leaving an Emerson Street home before climbing through the front window of a home on Coit Avenue at about 1:30 p.m. Sgt. Chris Mazzone said the two boys were leaving the second home through the back door when police arrived.

The two then ran back into the house, attempting to exit through the front door, but were met by officers.

One of the boys took off running while the other ran towards the officers, forcing him to deploy his Taser device. The other boy eluded police for almost 30 minutes before being caught.

Officers recovered video games, cash, and a replica gun. The items could possibly link the boys to as many as four burglaries. The two were booked into Juvenile Hall near San Leandro and are charged with suspicion of burglary and evading police.
