California’s sex offender registry Website recently added a feature that allows users to report information to help law enforcement keep its records up to date.

The Megan’s Law registry, which went online in December, now lets users fill out a form to submit tips and corrected address information on the state’s registered sex offenders. Information listed on the Website includes names, offenses, addresses, physical descriptions, and some photographs of registered offenders.

Police hope this new system will allow them to track down offenders who don’t re-register when they move.
