David Veness to Speak at International Security Exhibition

David Veness CBE, Assistant Commissioner of Specialist Operations for the Metropolitan Police in London, will present the Inaugural Address at the INTERSEC Security Exhibition (ISE) on February 18, 2003.

David Veness CBE, Assistant Commissioner of Specialist Operations for the Metropolitan Police, will present the Inaugural Address at the INTERSEC Security Exhibition (ISE) on February 18, 2003. Based at New Scotland Yard in London, Veness is responsible for intelligence, protection, anti-terrorism, and security, as well as Metropolitan Police operations against serious and organized crime.

Veness's address will mark the beginning of a three-day conference and exhibition. The event is expected to draw more than 6,000 professionals from around the globe.

Speakers at the conference will address current issues relating to homeland security, intelligence gathering, and NBC response, among other topics.

Exhibitors will be on hand representing cutting edge technology from a wide range of police and security fields.
