NSA 2000 set to roll

The National Sheriff's Association 2000 Annual Conference will be held in Kansas City, Mo., June 17-21. More than 550 exhibitors and 4,000 attendees are expected to fill the halls of the Kansas City Convention Center. Several workshops and seminars, offering valuable training, designed specifically for sheriffs and their staffs, will be offered. Although speakers had not yet been confirmed at press time, Texas Governor George W. Bush, South Dakota Governor William J. Janklow and New York Police Commissioner Howard Safir were among those who received invitations to speak at the conference.
