NOPTIC Vehicle-Mounted Thermal Imaging Camera

The rugged NOPTIC thermal imaging camera, manufactured by Autoliv, is a compact, low priced, high-resolution surveillance tool. The device’s spotlight-mounting location (patent pending) makes it easy to use. Since the camera is perfectly aligned with the spotlight, it allows for the timely and tactical use of the spotlight. Unlike hand-held devices that spend most of their time in the trunk or back at the office, the NOPTIC is always on and ready for continual night vision surveillance. The NOPTIC utilizes passive infrared technology for its 320 x 240 pixel image, so it won’t be blinded by any lights.
