The Thermal-Eye 2400xp unites visible and thermal imaging in one camera. The 2400xp uses L-3’s Gold-Standard Barium Strontium Titanate (BST) thermal imaging technology to provide a clear 320-by-240-pixel image, while the high-resolution, fully automatic charge-coupled device (CCD) visible camera is equipped with a 25X optical zoom and 12X digital zoom. The camera can also operate in two modes: regular daytime and low-light. The unit is stationary-mounted and incorporates pan and tilt for 360-degree surveillance.
