I was wondering for my dad who is a retired police officer, are there police magazines or gun magazines I could order him a subscription?

This one is a good choice, but they have gotten so big that they are impersonal now. You have to make sure they understand that you want to receive the printed editions, as I have been a subscriber since 1976 and haven't seen a printed edition in about two years, although I get the online articles, which are usually just short blurbs instead of full articles.
