StarChase Pursuit Management Technology by Advanced Public Safety is a GPS-based tagging system that helps eliminate the need for a pursuit by providing a safer alternative. It allows officers to remotely tag and GPS track a suspect's vehicle.

The system is deployed at speed or stationary and contains a compressed-air launcher, mounted in the grill or on the push bar of a police vehicle, a GPS projectile and secure mapping system.

Once the officer tags the vehicle, they simply drop back and coordinate vehicle tracking with dispatch, avoiding a traditional pursuit.

StarChase can help officers safely manage most high-risk vehicle stops, from felonies to narcotics and DUIs, according to the company.
