SafeMobile, Inc. introduces its RadioBridge Market ecosystem for two-way radio data applications at the 2013 International Wireless Communication Expo, (IWCE) in Las Vegas.
The company has developed SafeBridge, a transmitter that connects digital two-way radios and Wi-Fi networks. SafeBridge enables users to connect a two-way radio to mobile apps formatted for Android, Apple and Windows.
Only a small percentage of apps now available serve the needs of law enforcement two-way radios, and they are reliant on monthly data surcharges and open-network connections, according to a company release. RadioBridge offers increased privacy and security combined with no monthly fees for data usage on two-way radio networks.
RadioBridge app categories include total radio remote control, push-to-talk, image capture and processing, biometrics, mobile forms (digital ticketing, citations, and work orders), proof of delivery, and signature capture.
