The Appriss electronic crash reporting solution has been certified by the Illinois Department of Transportation and is now available for deployment to law enforcement agencies across the state, the company announced.
Appriss, Docview, the Illinois Association of Chiefs of Police and Illinois Sheriffs' Association will provide the software and services to participating agencies at no charge.
The software is the first component of the Appriss Virtual Records Solution (AVRS) available in the state. AVRS provides software tools for the collection, validation, analysis, and dissemination of public safety information.
The package includes services for installation, training and ongoing support for the software; Indcapture, diagramming, analysis, and RMS integration tools; and direct electronic reporting to the ILDOT and Docview eCommerce convenience portal.
