Ark. Deputy Fired for Facebook Comments

August 01, 2012  |

A Baxter County (Ark.) Sheriff's deputy was fired after he posted comments on his Facebook page containing profanity, criticism of coworkers, and a reference to himself sitting naked on his porch.

Sgt. Kevin Boucher, an 11-year veteran, received a termination letter Friday, reports the Baxter Bulletin.

The comments violated department policy regarding using profane language toward a supervisor and proper conduct, according to the agency.
