Motorola Releases LTE System for Public Safety

December 07, 2011  |

At IACP 2011, Motorola Solutions announced the release of Motorola Public Safety LTE. The system is now available.

Motorola's Long Term Evolution (LTE) products were developed through alliances with Ericsson and Verizon Wireless. The Motorola Public Safety LTE suite spans planning, integration, support, and hosting.

The Motorola Public Safety LTE solution will support a host of public safety applications, including Motorola's PremierOne and other computer-aided dispatch, real-time video streaming, dynamic mapping and routing, in-field reporting, and tactical collaboration tools.

Motorola has announced three Public Safety LTE projects already under development: San Francisco Bay Area; Harris County, Texas; and the state of Mississippi.
