L.A. Times: Eliminating Red-Light Cameras Makes Sense

The Los Angeles Police Department strongly supports the cameras as a public safety enhancement. The city has seen a 62% drop in red-light-related collisions at the intersections with cameras, compared with a 22% drop citywide during the same period, according to the LAPD.
