X-Ray of Truck Reveals Hundreds of Migrants Bound for U.S.

May 18, 2011  |

Mexican officials have released X-ray images showing hundreds of migrants crammed into two tractor trailers that were bound for the United States.

The X-ray image was taken by Chiapas state police examining trucks at a checkpoint in the outskirts of the city of Tuxtla Gutierrez that revealed 513 migrants crammed into two trailers bound for the U.S. The migrants apparently paid $7,000 each to the smugglers.
