Motorola To Build 700 MHz Public Safety Network In Houston

March 18, 2011  |

In its national broadband plan, the FCC standardized LTE for public-safety networks.

In July, Motorola announced it would begin installing an LTE system that would be ready by 2011. The network overlay would use Project 25 voice and data networks to deliver advanced communications tools to first responders, the company announced at the time.
