Officers Locate Wisconsin Purse Snatcher Using Digital Photo

A family vacationing in Madison, Wisc., stopped to pose for a picture in front of the state capitol building and noticed a purse snatcher in the background grabbing the family's bag, tech blog Gizmodo reports.

The family located Wisconsin Capitol Police officers and handed over the image. Officers immediately used the image to relay a description of the suspect to dipatchers who sent it to officers in the area. The man was apprehended and the family's purse and belongings were all returned.
