The National Geographic Channel’s “Inside the U.S. Secret Service” offers a perspective from inside the agency that protects the president.
The documentary will air on Sunday, October 24, 8:00 to 10:00 p.m. on the National Geographic Channel.
The special follows agents and officers on the job and details precautions taken to protect President George W. Bush during a recent appearance in Louisiana. It includes interviews with current and former Secret Service directors and former presidents Bill Clinton, George H.W. Bush, and Gerald Ford, as well as Democratic presidential nominee Sen. John Kerry.
According to Secret Service Director W. Ralph Basham, “‘Inside the U.S. Secret Service’ is the most in-depth look at who we are and what we do on a daily basis to protect both our nation’s leaders and its financial systems.”
