The tenth national “Women Working in Corrections and Juvenile Justice Conference” will take place in Baltimore Oct. 31-Nov. 3.
The conference will be held jointly at the Wyndham Baltimore Inner Harbor and the Radisson Plaza Lord Baltimore Hotels. The theme of the conference is “Honoring the Past, Celebrating the Present, and Envisioning the Future.”
“Approximately 1,000 individuals will convene here to take part in professional workshops and learn from nationally recognized speakers on topics of importance in our field,” says Patricia Phelps Schupple, Deputy Commissioner of the Division of Correction, Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services.
