The Armor Flotation Vest from US Armor provides protection to officers and rescued persons in extreme waters without interfering with the rescuer’s range of motion. Once the concealed flotation portion of the vest has been inflated, it can be adjusted to place the wearer in four different body angles to prevent plunging in waves. It also features a dedicated rescue strap to provide secure airway and thermal protective positioning to the rescued person so the rescuer can move freely.

The QuikClot ACS is a porous surgical sponge that contains beads of the agent that activate when they come into direct contact with blood in a wound. The sponge also stays in place during transport, is easy to apply to wounds, and can be applied from any angle.

The new Tactical Dress Uniform or TDU from 5.11 Tactical Series has been designed to replace Battle Dress Uniforms, or BDUs. 5.11 Tactical Series product developers utilized input from police and corrections officers to design the new TDU. The shirt features hidden document pockets on the front chest, triple stitching, and 28 bartacks for strength. A bi-swing shoulder allows for greater mobility and the sleeves feature removable neoprene elbow pads.

The Escape Rescue System is a building-wide solution for safe, external evacuation of building tenants and the rapid transport of rescue personnel to the upper reaches of a skyscraper. The system is composed of at least two devices; each is an array of five collapsible cabins. The system is permanently stored on the roof in a folded position. Upon activation by first responders, each array is lowered to the ground.

Glacier Tek Cool Vest - Glacier Tek, Inc.

Glacier Tek’s Cool Vest is a product designed for the cop who has to work in the summer in body armor. Cool Vest encloses a set of reusable plastic pouches filled with a non-toxic substance. Glacier Tek says all you have to do is soak the pouches in ice water or place them in the freezer for 20 minutes, put them inside the Cool Vest carrier, then strap it between your vest and your skin, and it will keep your body at 59 degrees Fahrenheit for up to two-and-a-half hours in 100-degree heat.
