Charlotte-Mecklenburg police have charged Cody Richmond with attempted murder, 10 counts of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, and 10 counts of assault with a deadly weapon on a law enforcement officer.

Headshot Ends Illinois Standoff With Armed Man

Officers shot the man after a three-hour standoff. The man's wife, 9-year-old son and a one-year-old child were able to exit the house before the standoff. Officers reported muzzle flashes inside the house and returned fire after the man fired at them from the rear of the house.

Point Blank to Outfit Washington DC Metro SWAT with Tactical Armor

Point Blank Solutions, Inc., today announced a new contract with Washington DC Metro SWAT to supply 90 tactical vests and related accessories, including leg armor and protective plates, among others. This latest contract was awarded to PACA Body Armor, Point Blank's subsidiary.
At four inches long and 12 ounces, the compact and lightweight SureFire Micro suppressor is designed to attenuate the sound signature of a carbine or rifle to a safe level.
