VIDEO: SLA Shootout with LAPD on May 17, 1974

On May 17, 1974, three months after the kidnapping of Patricia Hearst, a bunch of gun-wielding members of a group called the "Symbionese Liberation Army" barricaded themselves inside a house in Los Angeles, Calif., and began firing hundreds of rounds of ammunition at the police. The Daily News has provided video and photos to commemorate the anniversary.
