Amchar Wholesale introduced a compact tactical medical kit at SHOT Show developed by the military minds at the Phokus Research Group that operators can carry with them into harm's way.

The Sons Trauma Kit is vacuum-sealed so officers can slide it behind their rifle plate. That way, the kit doesn't add a bulky item to a duty belt.

The kit includes a Halo chest seal pad with hemostatic agent, Curley gauze, Ace wrap, two safety pins, and a pair of small trauma shears. Optional items include a 14-gauge needle and nasopharyngeal airway (NPA) tube.

The kit is now available and retails for $90.
