Barricaded Colo. Man Killed After Opening Fire on Officers

January 07, 2013  |

Aurora (Colo.) Police shot and killed a barricaded man who opened fire on tactical officers who launched tear gas into the home after a five-hour standoff.

The gunman opened fire at about 8 a.m. Saturday. A hostage-negotiation team had spent five hours talking to the suspect. After entering the townhouse, police found the bodies of the gunman and three others—two men and a woman—who were shot before police arrived at the scene.

The victims were all related to each other, reports Reuters.

Glad this waste of air and space is gone! Good job Aurora officers...too bad they didn't take down Holmes at the theater!
