The Putnam County (Fla.) Sheriff's Office SWAT team was called out over the weekend to detain a drunken sheriff's deputy upset about a break-up, authorities say.

Stephen Mayo, 26, was placed on paid administrative leave after deputies found him intoxicated and shouting in the front yard of his Florahome house last weekend, according to spokesman Hancel Woods of the Putnam County Sheriff's Office.

"He was distraught over breaking up with his girlfriend. He was very intoxicated," Woods told the Palatka Daily News. "He was in his yard acting out."
