Video: Okla. SWAT Team Rescues 6-Year-Old Taken Hostage by Father

July 19, 2012  |

Around 10:15 a.m., a 6-year-old girl being held hostage by her father in Del City, Okla., was released, and her father was found dead inside the house.

She managed to escape with the 2 year old, but the 6-year-old girl remained inside the house.

Police responded and approached the house. They said when they got close, the suspect fired a gunshot. Police backed off and called in the SWAT team and emergency medical crews.
