A disgruntled worker at a Cupertino, Calif., rock quarry opened fire on fellow workers this morning, immediately killing two and wounding six before escaping.
The suspect, who has been identified as Shareef Allman, opened fire with a .40-caliber handgun and .223 rifle during a shift change. Two co-workers died at the scene, while a third succumbed to injuries at the hospital.
He later tried to carjack a woman and shot her a short time later. Tactical officers and K-9 units are now searching for Allman, who is believed to be armed with a handgun, shotgun and two rifles.
