Fighters Scrambled After Airline Bathroom Incidents

The "suspicious" activity of passengers on two Sunday flights heading to D.C. and Detroit brought bomb squads, police response, and the scrambling of fighter jets on the 10-year anniversary of the 9/11 attacks.

In the first incident, two fighter jets escorted Flight 34 from Los Angeles to JFK after pilots became spooked about the frequent use of restrooms by several passengers.

A pair of fighters also escorted a Frontier Air flight from Denver to Detroit after flight personnel noticed two people acting suspiciously. It turned out the two were "making out" in the bathroom.

Two males going into the same bathroom on a plane at the same time would be strange unless it just left San Francisco. How big are those bathrooms anyway?
