California Bay Area Standoff Ends Without Incident

The standoff began, when officers responded to an alarm from a business at Mission and West Market streets. Responding officers heard gun shots and followed a man and woman to a home in the south San Francisco community.

A man and woman were taken into custody without incident Monday morning, following a six-hour stand-off with SWAT officers from the Daly City (Calif.) Police Department, reports the San Francisco Chronicle.

The standoff began, when officers responded to an alarm from a business at Mission and West Market streets. Responding officers heard gun shots and followed a man and woman to a home in the south San Francisco community.

As tactical officers prepared to enter the residence, the suspects surrendered.
