Butt-Dialed Call Sends SWAT To Illinois School

January 05, 2011  |

Tactical officers arrived to search an Illinois school today, after a man accidently dialied his wife while sitting on his phone, causing her to dial 911 when she heard gangster music in the background, reports the Chicago Tribune.

Officers searched the Carleton Washburne School in Winnetka, Ill., today after the woman contacted police believing her husband was being held at gunpoint in his office.

The husband, who is an administrative employee at the school, accidentally called his wife while his phone was in his back pocket. He was listening to rap music in his car on the way home, and the lyrics led his wife to believe he was in danger.

The search was disbanded after the man was discovered in his home.
