Police Use Water Cannon To End Standoff

Los Angeles SWAT officers used a water cannon early Sunday to enter a South L.A. home and arrest a domestic violence suspect after a five-hour standoff, reports the Los Angeles Times.
The standoff began at about 11 a.m. Saturday, when the man pulled a gun on his girlfriend during a walk. He then ran into his home and refused to come out.
