LCOA Composites, Inc. Announces DeadStop for Lightweight Police Shields

LCOA Composites, Inc., recently added another product to its arsenal with DeadStop lightweight Police shield technology, a new NIJ Level IIIA ballistic hybrid panel with multi-hit capability that can stop a .44 magnum bullet at 15 feet.

"The street is not about even odds; our law enforcement needs the best protection available," said Patrick Redfern, CEO of LCOA Composites, Inc.

DeadStop's construction enables the full-size shield, including a glass-viewing port, to be the lightest in its threat level class, weighing less than 14 pounds.

DeadStop Shields is the latest in a series of patented products LCOA Composites has introduced to the ballistic and structural composite market segments and is available exclusively through its strategic partner WinTec Security, Inc., of Houston, Texas.
