Second Md. Officer Suspended In Student Incident

The Prince George's County (Md.) Police Department has suspended a second officer involved in a videotaped incident that showed officers in riot gear striking the student during an after-game riot, Examiner.com reports.
Major Andy Ellis made the announcement during a Wednesday press conference at headquarters, and added that additional suspensions may be forthcoming. Ellis said four officers were involved in the incident.
In video that appears to be from a cell phone, officers are shown pushing 19-year-old student John McKenna into a wall, then striking him with batons as he lays there.
