Minneapolis SWAT Officer Charged In Bank Robberies

Police have charged a Minneapolis SWAT officer, who may be connected with as many as a dozen bank robberies during the past two weeks, the Star Tribune reports.
Timothy Carson, 28, was arrested Thursday, following a bank robbery in Apple Valley. The officer had left a trail of clues and will likely face additional charges.
He had told a supervisor he was running late on the morning of the robbery.
