Officer Injured During 7-Hour Standoff With Suicidal, Armed Man

A Tucson police officer was injured during a 7-hour standoff with a 62-year-old man weilding a handgun who was later shot and killed by the department's SWAT unit, the Arizona Daily Star reports.
SWAT officers, who deployed a tactical robot, shot the man when he came out of the house and refused to put down his firearm.
