Ariz. Governor Cuts Sheriff Joe Arpaio's Resources

An executive order signed by Gov. Janet Napolitano has prompted state police to cancel a $1.6 million agreement with the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office and, instead, use the money to create a fugitive task force.

Regardless, it would be my guess that Sheriff Arpaio stands a better chance of getting re-elected than Gov. Napolitano does. I wish that I lived in Maricopa County just to have the ability to vote for him the next time around. The illegal immigration issue has got be be dealt with, and its not going to be pleasant. No problem is pleasant to deal with when you have tried to ignore it for so long.

Well WALKIN'TRAILS I live in maricopa county and I vote for JOE everytime. napalitano block's the enforcement of immigration laws every time we turn around. then she declare's a state of emergency over illegal immigration. We are all saying " What the hell" We only have to put up with her for 2 more year's.
